Drop-in taster sessions
Saturday 10am to 11pm & 11:30pm to 12:30pm
We're really pleased to offer meditation taster sessions. Simply show up at the centre at 10am on any Saturday, and you will be offered full guidance on how to sit for meditation and given the tools you need to generate clearer and more positive mental and emotional states.
We have extended the Saturday morning to include a weekly introduction to the Buddha's teachings. You don't have to enrol in a course; just show up on any Saturday morning to find out about Buddhism.
The morning starts at 10 am with a guided meditation session for one hour; this is followed by a social space (with tea and biscuits) until 11:30am, when the introduction to Buddhism discussion will take place.
The classes are free of charge, but we welcome donations for the upkeep of the centre.
No need to book; feel free to come for both or either session, whichever best suits your interest.
