Drop-in taster sessions
Saturday 10am to 11pm & 11:30pm to 12:30pm
Weekly drop-in taster sessions of meditation followed by an introduction to the Buddha's teachings. No need to book; just feel free to come for both or either session.
Tasting Freedom - A practical Buddhist guide to changing your life.
Starting Tuesday 16th of January from 7pm to 9pm for 6 weeks
A new style course combining elements of Buddhist meditation with an introduction to some of the central teachings of the Buddha.
Midweek Sangha
Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
A weekly gathering at the centre to learn about the dharma, meditate, perform rituals and connect with other sangha members. For the most immersive experience of these evenings, it is recommended that you have attended at least one of our intro courses.
The Art of Dreaming

Dreams are for many an overlooked aspect of ourselves, our modern culture rarely encourages us to give them much attention, however, Buddhism sees dreams as offering an opportunity for spiritual growth and even a path to Enlightenment.
Women's Weekend Retreat
21st to 24th March at Vajraloka Retreat Centre.
Exploring the Therigatha, the stories of the early Buddhist Nuns.
Open to all women and non-binary people who are familiar with the Metta Bhavana, Mindfulness of Breathing and Seven Fold Puja
Going deeper
Modular courses run throughout the year
A study-based course aimed at people who have completed the introductory courses and possibly one or more of the "Life with Full Attention" and "Not About Being Good" studies.
Sub 30 Group
Monthly meet-up for people under 30's interested in the Buddhist path.

Chanting Workshops - These have now become a delightful and regular addition to our centre's offerings. The sessions are beautifully led by Natalia from Taraloka.

25 February: Parinirvana Day.
Friday 17th May to Sunday 19th May 2024 at Taraloka. This retreat is for people who regularly attend Chester, West Wales, Llangollen, and Shrewsbury Triratna Sanghas. All genders welcome. Booking now open via Taraloka website.
