An open weekend retreat at Taraloka.
This year's theme will be Ksanti.
Ksanti is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful words in the whole vocabulary of Buddhism It means forbearance, but also included is the idea of gentleness, of humility… and ksanti also contains very definite overtones of love, even compassion, of tolerance, of acceptance, and receptivity.” Sangharakshita
Following on from last year’s Four Sanghas weekend on Virya, this year we will be taking as our theme virya’s companion quality, Ksanti. Patience, gentleness, openness, acceptance, receptivity, the antidote to anger. Join us to explore how this quality can free us from negative mental states and bring peace in our lives.
This retreat is for people who regularly attend Chester, West Wales, Llangollen and Shrewsbury Triratna Sanghas. All genders welcome.
