Why do we sometimes get stuck in the same patterns of thinking and reacting? And is it possible to respond to life in a freer, more positive way?
This six-week course explores a key Buddhist idea: that the mind can function in two ways. It can be reactive, caught in habits and automatic responses, or creative, bringing awareness, choice and clarity to our experience.
Through simple explanations and everyday examples, you'll discover how mindfulness can help you step out of unhelpful patterns and respond to life with greater calm, compassion and confidence.
No previous experience necessary, just curiosity.
Open to anyone over the age of 18.
A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required to book your place in addition to a suggested donation of £65 payable at the centre.
